Search like a pro

• Company names may differ: Federal databases use legal entity names, not brand names. If nothing comes up for a company, check the colored chips that appear below your search — they show the exact name USASpending uses. Click any chip to search it.
• Keep it literal: This is a rigid database, not Google. Search Zero Trust instead of "agencies buying zero trust".
• Intersect targets: Type DHS AND Splunk to find the exact overlap of an agency and a keyword/vendor.
• Commas mean "OR": Searching Cloud, Cyber will return contracts containing either word.
• Use codes to cut through noise: Type a 6-digit NAICS (541512) or a 4-character PSC (D316) to capture poorly-titled contracts.
